Taiwanese media exposed the real reason for Zhao Liying’s divorce. After marriage, she has been living a false single parent life, which is different from Feng Shaofeng’s values

Many people know that Feng Shaofeng’s family is wealthy, and he is a veritable rich second generation. He entered the entertainment industry entirely out of personal interest, just to experience life. But Zhao Liying is different. Her rise to fame and popularity, in addition to luck, depends on her unremitting efforts and struggles. She has always regarded acting as a way of survival. After giving birth to children, Zhao Liying quickly recovered after only half a year. It seems that as many people say, Zhao Liying’s identity and background make him insecure about money, and his career occupies a considerable part of his life. Feng Shaofeng’s values are different, so the two went further and further.

In this regard, Taiwanese media publicly released news that the reason for the divorce of the two was the huge difference in family background. Zhao Liying was born in a rural area, so she naturally did not get the respect and attention of the Feng family. Prejudice, if it was not for Zhao Liying’s late pregnancy, or the Feng family’s parents would have been playing mandarin ducks long ago.

In addition, Zhao Liying, who came back after giving birth, has been in poor health. Although she is charming and moving on the screen, she is under unknown psychological pressure in her private life. Zhao Liying is particularly sensitive emotionally, likes to cry every time, and her mood is always depressed, because the mental pressure is too high and leads to hair loss.

Taiwanese media also reported that Zhao Liying deliberately avoided the staff when shooting the cover of the magazine and secretly asked the stylist to help him put on the wig. The singles return has not improved. Zhao Liying’s wig has also been seen in previous live broadcasts. The report appears to be true.

In order to adjust her state as soon as possible and calm down her emotions, Zhao Liying now avoids joining the crew to reduce the pressure of filming. It only accepts magazines and interviews, most of which are only in commercial settings.

The cause of Zhao Liying’s postpartum depression is that she leads a pseudo-single-parent life, which we call "widow marriage."

In addition, they are all actors and have to run around the set most of the time, so the burden of taking care of the children falls on Feng Shaofeng’s family. Zhao Liying can only accompany the children in her spare time.

Feng Shaofeng’s mother has always been afraid of this, worried that Zhao Liying did not take good care of her grandson, and often complained loudly in front of her son and grandson. Of course Zhao Liying couldn’t bear it, so after deciding to divorce, she wanted to fight with Feng Shaofeng for the custody of her son. In the future, she will bring her son with her in filming, so that the child will not feel the lack of maternal love, and will try to balance career and family ties.

It can be seen that the combined effect of the above factors has led to a red light in the relationship between Zhao Liying and Feng Shaofeng. Beautiful love often cannot withstand the consumption of food, rice, oil and salt, not to mention the insurmountable tension between the two. Conflict, think about it, breaking up is undoubtedly the best ending for both of them. I hope you both have a good time and find your own happiness in the future.

New song publishing meeting Shi Yang "learn secret techniques" Jolin Cai: I also have limits

Is show dancing better than show voice?

"For me, music and dance are equally important"

Since the last "Dancer" album, Jolin Tsai has almost become a veritable "dancer". In the new album "Love Quest", she dances the eye-popping "gravity-free pole dance" – without relying on any wire, she slips freely between the air and the ground. Despite earning enough attention, it has attracted some discussions in the circle that this move is more of a dance gimmick and deviates from the body of music. This is not bothered by Jolin Tsai: "For me, music and stage are of equal importance, and I can do what I need to do. Of course, for a stage artist like me, dance will definitely grab points, but this must be a performance done with music. I definitely can’t run to the stage sloppily."

A reporter asked Cai Jilin if he felt his limits after working so hard to challenge the new record. In this regard, Cai Jilin admitted that, like ordinary people, they will have the experience of hitting their limits to some extent: "In this industry, everyone must rethink when they reach a certain level, doubt and hesitate about what they have achieved in their work."

Styling plagiarized from R & B female singers?

"I’m not stupid enough to draw the same gourd"

In the music film "Agent J", which is filmed in conjunction with the new album, Jolin Tsai wears a sexy black leather jacket to play the cold-faced killer. Some sharp-eyed netizens pointed out that this look is similar to the female R & B singer Rihanna in Europe and the United States. In this regard, Jolin Tsai told reporters: "When I do anything, I will often be said to be plagiarized, and I am used to it. For me, as long as it is in line with the album, I will definitely try it, but I will definitely not be stupid enough to follow the same picture."

As for the songs on the new album, many of them cover the works of overseas artists, Jolin Tsai explained that the company did not find any special Chinese works.

Has the emotional outlook changed? "I’m still just as cowardly"

Yesterday, Jolin Tsai, who wrote the lyrics to Metronome, a song on the new album, told the media that the song set out some of her thoughts on relationships: "In love, one partner always wants to cooperate with the other, just like Metronome, I am a person who does not dare to resist my boyfriend." Asked by a reporter if her emotional outlook could change, she confessed: "It seems that it has not changed, and it is still so cowardly… As an artist, there must be gains and losses. Of course, the lost part includes love, as well as freedom and privacy, but I got the job I like."

Shi Yang squeezed in the media "learn secret techniques"

In the media area, the reporter found that Shi Yang, who imitated the "dancer" in the "type show", was secretly hiding in a corner. He told the reporter that he came as a fan and had not had the opportunity to meet his idol Jolin Tsai, but he was already very excited to see her up close. (Reporter, Gao Lei)

4-Year-old Xiaohua wants her father to cry and asks Deng Chao to call her in her dream

Since becoming a father, Deng Chao has become a "Baby Dazzler", sharing the joys and sorrows of his children on Weibo from time to time. On the 25th, Deng Chao exposed the warm chat records with his daughter through Weibo. Xiaohua missed her father so much that she cried because she couldn’t find her father when she was dreaming, and agreed with her father that she must call her in her dream, which was very warm.

Deng Chao posted the chat records with his daughter Xiaohua, and said: "4-year-old Xiaohua sister." From the chat records, Xiaohua missed her father so much that she couldn’t find it in her dreams, so she cried in a hurry, and no one answered the phone. Deng Chao replied that his father was at work and called his daughter after get off work. Xiaohua and her father agreed that his father must call her in her dream, which was very warm and happy.

After this Weibo was exposed, netizens watched and left messages saying: "Xiaohua is so cute! Warm heart little baby!" "Sister Xiaohua is really Dad’s little cotton-padded jacket, and a picture of super tears on the screen appeared in front of her eyes." "Four-year-old Sister Xiaohua can already express her miss for Dad very well!"

The startup rate has dropped sharply, how can the TV return to the "C position" in the living room?

Recently, "our country’s TV boot rate fell to 30%" rushed to the hot search, and "whether the TV will be eliminated" attracted attention. The reason for the decline in the average daily boot rate of TV sets is not only the external impact brought by the rise of small screens, but also its own problems such as poor user experience. Experts believe that insisting on product innovation and improving user experience will help TV win back the favor of consumers.

"After renting a house for two years, the TV has never been turned on once." Recently, Ms. Li, who works in Yantai, Shandong Province, told reporters that for her, the TV has become the most useless item in the room, and "even thought of moving it away."

The "2024 China Smart TV Interaction New Trend Report" released by the Prospective Industry Research Institute shows that since 2016, the average daily TV boot rate in our country has experienced a cliff-like decline, from 70% to less than 30% in 2022. Recently, "our country’s TV boot rate has fallen to 30%" rushed to the hot search, and "whether the TV will be eliminated" has attracted attention.

Once upon a time, televisions were a must-have household appliance and occupied the "C position" in the living room for many years. Now, many residents say that the televisions in their homes "have not been turned on for several months" and "left there in the dust". Why are televisions no longer "favored"? Who is still in front of the TV? Can the TV return to the "C position" in the living room? With these questions, the reporter of the "Workers’ Daily" started an interview.

Small screen impact, poor experience and other "persuading" audiences to quit

On the topic of the current TV turn-on rate, the reporter interviewed a number of consumers, and many gave the answer of "I don’t watch it much" and "I haven’t turned it on recently". The reasons for not watching TV include not only the impact of the rise of small screens such as mobile phones and tablets, but also the poor user experience of TVs themselves.

"Now mobile phones, tablets and other devices are small and portable, you can swipe short videos and watch dramas anytime, anywhere, and you don’t need TV in your life at all." Ms. Li said that the audience of small-screen devices is self-controllable, can double the speed, can pause, and can choose whatever program you want to watch. However, because of the fixed location and one-way transmission, TV is somewhat unattractive for users who want to obtain information anytime, anywhere and interact in real time.

The complicated operation of TV is also an important reason why many people "dislike" it. Under the hot search topic of "TV startup rate in our country has dropped to 30%", some netizens said that turning on the TV requires the cooperation of two remote controls, and the steps are cumbersome. It is more troublesome to find a certain channel on the TV. "Let alone the elderly at home, young people have to study it carefully for a while when opening a TV." In the interview, many respondents also said that after the TV is turned on, they usually watch 15-20 seconds of advertisements before the page can jump. If you want to watch TV channels, you need to perform manual operations, and if you want to skip advertisements, you must charge as a member.

"It’s not that the TV doesn’t want to be turned on, it’s that the TV members can’t afford it." Mr. Guo from Guangzhou said that whether it is the TV’s own software or the TV side of various video platforms, almost all of them have to be charged as members before they can watch the full program. "What’s worse is that the TV side and the mobile side are not universal. The mobile side is charged with VIP, and you have to add money to charge SVIP to use it on the TV side." Mr. Guo said this operation was the main reason for "persuading him to quit" watching TV.

The position in the hearts of most consumers remains solid

The reporter also found in the interview that the TV’s position in the hearts of some young consumers remains solid, but their demand for TV has become more personalized.

"The big screen is the main reason why the TV attracts me." Ms. Lu, 26, who has a habit of exercising at home, told reporters that when she exercises, she turns on the TV and connects the handheld game console to the TV. "The small screen of the handheld game console looks laborious, especially when doing aerobic boxing, fitness rings and other sports, it is very inconvenient to follow. If you transmit the screen to the TV, you can see it more clearly and exercise better," Ms. Lu said.

Like Ms. Lu, many consumers like the large screen of the TV. Mr. Hu, a post-80s Beijing resident, always turns on the TV at home every time he watches a football game: "The impact of the large screen is stronger than the small screen, and the audio-visual effect is better."

At the same time, television is still the main channel for some of the elderly to watch news and movies and TV dramas. For them, watching a certain TV program at a certain time is still a fixed action. Grandpa Zhao, 75, told reporters that he maintains the habit of watching news broadcasts and weather forecasts every day. "For me, there is no alternative to TV," Grandpa Zhao said.

In an online poll, "Do you think the TV will be obsolete?", 52.5 percent of internet users said no. For them, TV is a significant other for household chores, a background music during cooking, and an "artifact" to avoid the atmosphere of desertion – you can not watch it, but you must turn it on, and "listen to it" is also a pleasure.

Peng Jianfeng, vice-chairperson of the China Electronics and Video Industry Association, said that the busy modern life and the popularity of mobile end points will inevitably lead to the decline in the average daily power-on rate of TVs, but the TV or the large screen in the living room will never withdraw from the stage of history. "From the perspective of usage scenarios, applications such as live TV, Video-On-Demand, sports fitness, and console games have a sense of’seckill ‘on the large screen," Peng Jianfeng said.

A two-pronged approach to regain market favor

According to Aowei Cloud Network’s 2023 domestic color TV market shipment report, 65 inches is the dividing line between positive and negative growth in TV sales. In 2023, sales of small and medium-sized TVs under 65 inches were all negative, while all large-size TVs above 65 inches maintained positive growth. Among them, the amount of large screens above 75 inches achieved more than double growth.

Peng Jianfeng believes that with the rise of the flat panel display industry in our country, the price of large-screen TVs is becoming more and more affordable, and "the effect of changing a large TV on improving the quality of life of consumers is immediate".

At present, the standard of "good TV" continues to rise, and multiple needs such as oversized, ultra-clear, ultra-thin, and ultra-eye protection have emerged, and intelligence has become the focus of consumers’ attention. "I hope the TV can interact like a mobile phone, and realize left and right swiping, manual tapping, etc., rather than relying on remote control operation." Ms. Lu said that from touch screen to gesture and somatosensory, she is very much looking forward to TVs with intelligent interaction functions.

Peng Jianfeng believes that an ultra-high definition smart TV is like a set of exquisite tableware. To make "delicious food" well, people will have more motivation to use "tableware". In the future, TV programs and large-screen applications can be promoted through market-oriented means to accelerate innovation and meet people’s growing audio-visual, entertainment and life needs.

In addition to "delicious food", it is also necessary to optimize the experience of using "tableware". Peng Jianfeng said that the relevant departments are promoting audio-visual friendly work, and projects such as TV and set-top box remote control "two-in-one" will help to greatly improve the user experience.

Since August 2023, the State Administration of Radio, Television and Television has carried out "dual governance" work in the three major fields of cable TV, IPTV, and Internet TV, that is, the charging of TV "nesting dolls" and the complex management of operations. At present, the governance goal of "reducing the charging package by 50% and improving the transparency of consumption" has been achieved.

"Adhering to product innovation and improving user experience will help promote the prosperity of the TV market and enable TV to win back the favor of consumers," Peng Jianfeng said.

The debut of a new generation of domestic Beidou high-precision positioning chips will strongly support the development of the Beidou navigation industry

CCTV News:The latest generation of domestic Beidou high-precision positioning chip was recently unveiled in Beijing. The 22nm chip is expected to be officially released by the end of this year and mass-produced in the first half of 2021. It will be applied to high-precision positioning needs such as autonomous driving, drones, and robots.

The positioning chip is equivalent to the "brain" of the navigation device. Every navigation device needs to rely on this "brain" for calculation and processing to achieve positioning, so the positioning chip is also the core component of satellite navigation products.

In addition to supporting Beidou navigation, the chip can also support receiving navigation signals from multiple systems such as GPS in the United States, GLONASS in Russia, and Galileo in the European Union. By being compatible with different signal systems, the new generation of Beidou positioning chips can obtain richer data information and provide more accurate positioning and navigation services.

This 22-nanometer chip is not only smaller in size and requires less energy, but also has more powerful processing capabilities.

According to reports, this chip can be widely used in high-precision navigation and positioning fields such as surveying and mapping, drones, autonomous driving, and deformation monitoring, laying a technical foundation for Beidou high-precision applications.

It will effectively support the development of the Beidou navigation industry

All kinds of navigation and positioning end points involved in our daily production and life must be calculated through the positioning chip. The debut of the new generation of domestic Beidou high-precision positioning chip will provide strong support for the development of our country’s Beidou navigation industry.

At present, most of the international mainstream satellite navigation chips still use 40-nanometer process, while our country’s Beidou navigation 28-nanometer process chips have been mass-produced. The launch of a new generation of 22-nanometer process chips will play an important supporting role in enhancing the international competitiveness of Beidou navigation end point products.

The new generation of positioning chips are highly competitive in terms of size, power consumption, performance, cost, etc. In the future, more end point devices can achieve more accurate positioning capabilities, and security is also constantly improving.

At present, our country’s navigation and positioning service industry is in a stage of rapid development. In 2019, the overall output value of our country’s satellite navigation and location-based service industry reached nearly 345 billion yuan, an increase of 14.4% over 2018. With our country’s innovative breakthroughs in core technologies such as navigation and positioning chips, it will further promote Beidou and location-based service applications to accelerate into people’s production and life.

After donating 1.30 billion, Lei Jun once again responded that Xiaomi has no core technology: the "least good at" 5G standard patents have entered the top ten in the world

On the afternoon of November 29, Lei Jun, the founder, chairperson and CEO of Xiaomi Group, gave a speech at the 9th Wuhan University Alumni Luojia Forum, a 1987 computer department alumnus of Wuhan University, confessed his feelings and blessed his alma mater.

Lei Jun attended the celebration of the 130th anniversary of Wuhan University. Photo by Gao Yong, reporter of Changjiang Daily

"Today is the 130th anniversary of my alma mater, Wuhan University. Here, I would like to extend my sincerest and warmest congratulations to my alma mater. Happy 130th birthday to Wuhan University!"

"At the 9th Alumni Luojia Forum held by my alma mater, I am honored to be invited to share as a guest speaker again. I have always had an unforgettable love for my alma mater. The small achievements I have achieved today are inseparable from the training of my alma mater back then. It was from Wuhan University that I embarked on the road of scientific and technological exploration."

The following is the full text of the speech.

Dear teachers, seniors, and students, good afternoon!

I am Lei Jun, a 1987 alumnus. First of all, I would like to extend my sincerest and warmest congratulations to my alma mater. Happy 130th birthday to Wuhan University!

I have always had an unforgettable love for my alma mater, and the small achievements I have achieved today are inseparable from the training of my alma mater in those years. It can be said that Wuhan University has shaped me, allowed me to find my dream, learned the way to learn, and gave me the most precious wealth in my life. No matter where I go, I will always think of the great support and care given by my alma mater, and my heart is full of gratitude.

01

"Wuhan University is the best university in the world"

Five years ago, also here, I once said: In my heart, Wuhan University is the best university in the world, no one. This sentence caused a huge response on the Internet. In fact, it doesn’t matter. If everyone feels that there is a gap, all our teachers and students of Wuhan University and Wuhan University alumni have a common goal: to build our alma mater into the best university in the world!

What’s so great about Wuhan University?

Not only is it a long history, achievements and many masters, just talking about the campus environment, our Wuhan University is definitely the best. Take the architecture as an example, the old zhai house, the old library, the old gymnasium, etc., which fully reflects the ideological pattern of ancient and modern, and the integration of East and West. It is a classic business card of Chinese universities and a warm picture that we will always remember in our hearts.

Of course, what’s more important is the humanistic environment of Wuhan University. The most attractive thing about Wuhan University is that it pays special attention to the free development of people, the style of study is diverse and inclusive, and it never allows students to study, but allows students to fully develop independently. The teachers are also very friendly, and the relationship between teachers and students is very harmonious. Let me give a small example. When I was in school, the teachers rarely delayed the class, because once the class was delayed, the students knocked on the table to protest, and the teacher immediately understood.

In August this year, I held my fourth annual speech, with the theme of "Growing Up", which mainly told me how I went to college and started a business. Most of the content was about Wuhan University. At that time, Secretary Huang Taiyan also came to the scene to support. There are so many friends on the scene today, I ask a question, how many people have seen my speech in August?

In my memory, there are a lot of stories about Wuhan University, and I only told a small part of them in my speech, mainly five experiences: just entering the university, watching "Silicon Valley Fire" in the library; completing four years of college credits in two years; how to become a program master; undergraduate ** in the journal; and the experience of trying to start a business in college.

I cut a short video for you to watch.

Some netizens commented: This is a large-scale recruitment promotion of Wuhan University. This netizen is right, this speech is to promote Wuhan University and to warm up for Wuhan University’s 130-week celebration.

Wuhan University also had a crucial impact on me: it was here that I embarked on the path of scientific and technological exploration.

02

My path to technological exploration

2.1 The path to take in life

Before the college entrance examination, I like chemistry and wanted to apply for the Department of Chemistry at first. I have a good brother who wants to apply for computer science. I just temporarily changed my volunteer and applied for the Department of Computer Science of Wuhan University.

Looking back now, everything was the best arrangement. As soon as I entered college, I fell madly in love with programming, which can be said to be "addicted to it, and I can’t extricate myself".

There were too few opportunities to get on the computer in that era, and I thought of many ways, and even did such "bad things" with my classmates – sneaking through the windows in the middle of the night, sneaking into the computer room, playing with the computer all night, and almost being caught by the teacher on the spot. Of course, this was wrong, and I have to thank my alma mater for its tolerance.

The teachers have always encouraged us to continue to explore and innovate in technology. Coupled with the free and relaxed environment and laboratory conditions, I have the courage to set no limits. At that time, I dabbled in a very wide range, writing encryption software, antivirus software, financial software, CAD software, Chinese systems, etc., and also did hardware like Hanka.

Today, I can still find the code I wrote when I was a sophomore on the Internet. A memory management software called RI, this small software is very popular. At that time, I simply open-sourced it. Why open-source it? The main reason is to show off my skills, write such a good code, let everyone see it, and challenge the experts in the country.

Therefore, I feel that when you are young, you should try as much as possible, broaden your horizons, and enrich your "arsenal".

2.2 Hold the banner of national general software

After graduation, I joined Kingsoft as employee No. 6, participating in the development of office software.

Many friends may not be familiar with the fact that large-scale commercial software such as office software is extremely difficult to develop. At present, the world mainly includes Microsoft Office and Kingsoft WPS.

WPS was born in 1988 and experienced great success, but by 1996, "there was Microsoft before, and then there was piracy", and it was in a desperate situation. In the most difficult days, we discussed many times whether to continue to do WPS. In fact, from a business perspective, there was no reason to continue.

There is only one reason why we have never given up: WPS is the banner of national universal software, and we cannot let this flag fall in our hands.

To keep doing WPS, the most difficult thing is to find a way to survive. We make various tools and software such as Kingsoft Word and Kingsoft Drug Tyrant, and we make games, etc. We find survival space in the gaps that Microsoft does not want to do or disdains to do, and work hard to make money. Then, use the money earned to support the WPS team, insist on continuous research and development and continuous improvement, and fight a long-term war.

Of course, it is impossible to win by making small repairs to the original architecture alone. By 2002, we had made an important decision to rewrite WPS from scratch with all the money we had worked so hard to save over the years, a total of 40 million yuan in cash, a handful of All-in. This was a very difficult decision, involving the rewriting of tens of millions of lines of code, which required great courage and determination. We worked on it for 3 years, and finally in 2005, we completed a new architecture. We have made great efforts to build this architecture, and we can proudly say that it represents the most advanced level of office software in the past 20 years, and it has been used to this day.

In this protracted battle, Jinshan endured a long period of loneliness and suffering. At that time, there were not many people who understood us, nor did they cheer for us. We just thought we should do it.

In 2011, I became the chairperson of Jinshan, leading the transformation of Jinshan mobile Internet. The advantages of WPS rewriting architecture are reflected. This time, we finally overtook Microsoft Office and became the best office software for mobile end and the largest market share in China. After 20 years of groping in the dark, Jinshan has finally regained the glory of its early days.

In 2019, after 31 years of perseverance, Kingsoft WPS finally went public.

At that time, the entire IT industry said that WPS was a hardcore technology hero dream and the most inspiring story in China’s software industry.

Today, the number of WPS MAU equipment has exceeded 586 million, R & D expenditure accounts for more than 35%, and R & D personnel account for more than 60%.

The breakthrough of hard-core technology relies on lasting resilience and persistence. The counterattack of WPS is the victory of persistence.

To this day, when it comes to autonomous control and domestic substitution, in the field of office software, WPS has never worried anyone.

The history of WPS has also proved that with enough perseverance, Chinese engineers, scientists, and entrepreneurs can all succeed in any field of hard-core technology.

2.3 From software to hardware

In the long-term battle of Jinshan, at the age of 40, I once again ventured into the field of hardware technology.

In 2010, in a small office in the Silver Valley Building of Baofusi Bridge in Beijing, I founded Xiaomi with 13 colleagues.

A programmer who had been working in software and the Internet for 20 years, and suddenly stepped into the hardware industry, can be said to be "ignorant and fearless". But the most important thing I did at Wuhan University gave me inexplicable confidence. As long as I have the ability to learn, there are no problems that cannot be solved.

Later, as everyone knows, Xiaomi won a fantastic start, but also encountered tremendous difficulties due to the lack of a solid foundation in hardware capabilities. At the most dangerous and difficult moment, in May 2016, I had to personally take over the mobile phone department, leading the team to seriously make up lessons and focus on hardcore technology.

Speaking of which, the courage to directly manage hardware research and development is still the confidence given to me by Wuhan University. Back then, when I was at Wuhan University, I soldered circuit boards and made programmable chips. Although I am not proficient, it can be regarded as some hardware basics.

At that time, I had more than 20 meetings every day, while learning the latest technology of mobile phone hardware, discussing engineering plans with my colleagues, and frantically recruiting the best engineers to expand the team and enhance the research and development strength. Looking back now, those more than a year were simply not a human life, and even cats and dogs could not stand it. But there is no wasted effort in the world. Just like practicing programming at Wuhan University, my hardware technology level soon improved.

In March 2021, Xiaomi Group officially announced the construction of a car, and I began to learn the technology of the car frantically. I will share it with you after Xiaomi Auto is officially launched.

2.4 In the next decade, from "striving" to "leading"

Xiaomi’s mission is to "insist on making good products that move people’s hearts and are affordable, so that everyone in the world can enjoy the good life brought by technology", which determines that Xiaomi must be a technology company.

Many people still have many misunderstandings about Xiaomi. What is the misunderstanding? Someone always says, "Xiaomi is an assembly plant, Xiaomi has little investment in research and development, and Xiaomi has no core technology."Overall, Xiaomi does have a certain gap compared to the world’s top technology companies. But as a 13-year-old company, Xiaomi’s investment and strength in research and development are still quite strong.

Let me report a set of figures: in the past five years, Xiaomi’s R & D investment has reached a compound annual growth rate of 38.4%. In 2022, Xiaomi’s R & D investment was 16.20 billion yuan, and it is expected to reach 20 billion yuan in 2023. In the next five years, more than 100 billion yuan will be invested in technology research and development. What is the level of 16.20 billion yuan? In September this year, the National Bureau of Statistics, the Ministry of Science and Technology, and the Ministry of Finance issued the "Statistical Communiqué on National Science and Technology Investment in 2022", and the national R & D investment 3.07829 trillion. Xiaomi’s R & D investment has accounted for 0.53% of all R & D expenditures in the country, including the sum of central enterprises, state-owned enterprises, universities, research institutions, and

Let’s take another example, let’s take a field that Xiaomi may be the least good at in everyone’s eyes, 5G standard patents. This field is the strength of communication equipment manufacturers, and it requires accumulation and precipitation in particular, and it takes years to endure. But even so, in the "5G Standard Essential Patent Declaration Valid Global Patent Family Enterprise Ranking" released by the China Institute of Information and Communications this year, Huawei is the world’s leader, accounting for 14%; while Xiaomi patents account for 4.1%, which has entered the top ten in the world.

On the issue of misunderstanding, I have also been troubled. Later I want to understand that there is no need to be torn, the key depends on your own growth.

On the other hand, when you compare 13-year-old Xiaomi with Apple, Samsung, and Huawei, you have extremely high expectations and requirements for us. However, rice is eaten bite by bite, and the road is taken step by step. I believe that as Xiaomi continues to increase its investment in research and development and its strength becomes stronger and stronger, we will definitely be able to win everyone’s trust and recognition by virtue of our own continuous growth.

In August this year, I announced Xiaomi’s strategic goal for the new decade: to invest heavily in the underlying core technology and strive to become a new generation of global hard-core technology leaders.

Just last month, we just released Xiaomi Surging OS, which is the world’s first "people, cars, and home ecosystem" operating system. Xiaomi Surging OS took 7 years of research and development, and more than 5,000 engineers participated in an unprecedented system underlying reconstruction. It will become the "public base for the interconnection of all things" in the future world, ready for tens of billions of devices and tens of billions of connections in mobile phones, homes, cars and other scenarios.

At the same time, Xiaomi has been working on many cutting-edge technologies, such as AI, chips, intelligent manufacturing, and humanoid robots.

I tell my colleagues inside the company that greatness is made, and we must be firm and patient enough. Xiaomi has only been around for 13 years, and we must be firm for at least 30 years before we can become a truly great company. This is an interesting phenomenon. In the field of hard core technology and manufacturing, almost all truly great companies have experienced more than 30 years of experience.

Why 30 years? Because 30 years is the time for generations of engineers to build a deep and leading technology system; it is the time required to grow to a sufficient scale to catch up with and surpass the original giants in the relevant industry. On the other hand, a technology company needs to go through several ups and downs and experience the test of industry and macro cycles in order to establish a solid industrial foundation and form a deep influence and leadership on the industrial chain.

The development of China’s hard-core technology has gradually participated in global competition since the 1990s, and is crossing the 30-year test threshold. On the one hand, China’s technology companies are catching up with the world’s top R & D technology level in the current low-level technology tracks; on the other hand, a new round of scientific and technological revolution and industrial transformation is surging, and the cutting-edge hard-core technology strength is the decisive force.

Modern technology is a global battle for technology, resources, talent, and markets. We must seize the opportunity to win the future. In the current geopolitical environment, the more we face blockade and suppression, the less we can engage in self-isolation and self-isolation. We must always uphold a broad vision and mind. On the one hand, we are self-reliant and open-minded, and we will use the global advantageous resources to our advantage, forming an open innovation ecosystem with global competitiveness, and constantly moving towards the high end of the global value chain.

Gratitude and responsibility

3.1 The grace of a drop of water, the spring returns

During my college years and during my entrepreneurial career, I received a lot of help from people, and I have always been grateful.

I often ask myself: what should I do for my alma mater? What should I do for this era?

This morning, I finally fulfilled a major wish: I personally donated 1.30 billion cash to my alma mater as a birthday gift to support Wuhan University’s basic discipline development, scientific and technological innovation and college student training.

This wish originated more than 30 years ago. I grew up in an ordinary family in a county seat. When I was studying at Wuhan University, my family was very burdened, and I was determined to survive on my own.

So I studied very hard and worked very hard to get the scholarship. I once won the highest scholarship at Wuhan University at that time: 2,000 yuan, a huge sum of money from a donation from a company. I was particularly moved at that time, and I still clearly remember that on the podium, I secretly swore in my heart: When I have the ability, I will return it ten times, a hundred times, ten thousand times.

Six years after graduation, in 1997, at the age of 27, with a salary of about 4,000 yuan, I started my first donation to my alma mater, which was to establish the Lei Jun Scholarship (then called the Tengfei Scholarship) in the School of Computer Science. Since then, it has been donated for 26 consecutive years. In 2017, I finally donated a building at Wuhan University, and in June this year, the Lei Jun Building was officially completed.

Today, I decided to donate 1.30 billion, and I am very excited.

Struggling for a lifetime, what is it for? Different people have different answers. For me, being able to donate to my alma mater is one of the most worthwhile things to do.

However, I never advocate comparisons in donations. Everyone can give back to their alma mater with practical actions, and they can contribute money and make a strong contribution. This event has many, many alumni donations, and every donation is the love of alumni to their alma mater, and the weight is equal.

My donation this time focuses on three main directions: supporting basic research in the six major disciplines of mathematics, physics, literature, history and philosophy, supporting technological innovation in the field of computer science and technology, and supporting the training of college students. It is to enable more engineers, scientists, and technology entrepreneurs to appear in China, so that China can have more Huawei, more Xiaomi, more BYD, and more Ningde era. With more such people and companies, China’s hard-core technology will continue to rise and develop, and the forces supporting China’s hard-core technology will continue to emerge. Only then can we continue to lead the development of global science and technology, create a better life, and create a better and fairer world where everyone can continue to share the fruits of development.

3.2 Wuhan University spirit, endless life

Today, we gather here to celebrate the 130th anniversary of Wuhan University, not only the glorious history and great achievements of Wuhan University, but also the spiritual outlook and future blueprint of Wuhan University.

The history of the 130th anniversary of Wuhan University, as well as the revival of China and the changes in the world witnessed by Wuhan University in the past 130 years, tell us that we still have to believe. Believe in dreams, believe in persistence, believe in endless power, and believe in something beautiful and resilient that can cross the vicissitudes of life.

Finally, congratulations to the 130th anniversary of the alma mater, wish Wuhan University forever young; wish all Wu University people a bright future!

Thank you very much.

Meituan responds to the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security’s "Hundred Million Recruitment Special Project Action" and opens up more jobs 20,000

In June this year, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security launched the 2023 100 Million Day Recruitment special project action, using 100 days to provide more than 10 million jobs to help all kinds of workers find employment. Meituan actively responded to the recruitment special project action and launched a special recruitment session, opening more than 20,000 jobs for takeaway riders, takeaway operation assistants, service station clerks, warehousing operators, freight drivers, customer service, etc. In order to further promote employment stability, Meituan Distribution has launched the "Spring Breeze Delivery" action, the summer part-time rider security mechanism, and the flexible rider holiday to continue to expand the supply of jobs.

▲ Meituan responds to the "100 million recruitment special project" online recruitment special

In recent years, new employment forms represented by takeaway riders have played an important role in promoting employment stability. In 2022, 6.24 million riders will earn income through Meituan. This year, Meituan Distribution launched the "****** Breeze Delivery" action in 2023, further opening up 500,000 riders, stationmasters and other distribution service jobs, investing 100 million yuan for recruitment, and giving cash rewards to old riders who successfully introduce new people. Taking ******* as an example, a single person can get up to 10,000 yuan. At the same time, increase the coverage ** recruitment and employment information, set up online live broadcast and **fline special recruitment, and link well-known live streaming hosts on short video platforms to introduce riders’ careers in an all-round way. During the summer vacation, many students choose to work part-time as takeaway riders, and Meituan Distribution has also upgraded the summer part-time rider protection mechanism, including night order protection restrictions, customer service green channels, **fline one-to-one running "mentorship", as well as novice income guidance, rider care sheets, rider disclaimer cards, etc., to effectively improve the delivery safety and running order income ** summer part-time riders.

Riders have flexible career hours and stable income. They have long absorbed a large number of rural transfer labor for a long time. At present, more than 80% of Meituan riders come from rural areas in the county, and 280,000 riders come from key counties for national rural revitalization. Many of them are engaged in agricultural-related work in their hometowns, and they supplement their income by being riders in their spare time. In order to help "rural migratory bird riders" take care of farming and running orders, Meituan Distribution promotes various flexible holidays for riders at sites across the country according to the actual situation, such as "Autumn Harvest Holiday" at Changchun site in Jilin, "Shrimp Fake" at Qianjiang site in Hubei, and "Cordyceps Fake" at Lhasa site in Tibet. Riders can take leave according to their own needs, from a few days to two or three months of vacation. During the holiday period, the site will reserve the position and seniority of the rider, and provide guarantees such as return-to-work subsidies. In May this year, the Lhasa rider Kume Chenglin took leave to return to his hometown, earned more than 20,000 yuan in a month by digging Cordyceps, and then returned to the city to run orders. He said, "In the past, there may only be income in the Cordyceps season for a few months a year, but now there is income in 12 months."

Meituan distribution related person in charge said that riders are the first job for many migrant workers to enter the city, and more and more young people are also accumulating social experience through running orders in winter and summer vacations, which puts forward higher requirements for the recruitment, training and other work of riders. Meituan will continue to expand the job supply, improve the quality of employment, and continue to amplify the value of the "employment reservoir" of the rider profession under the guidance of relevant departments.
