Typhoon Mikla made landfall in Fujian today due to heavy rainfall in the north.
BEIJING, Beijing, August 11 th In early August, the rain in the south was temporarily suspended, and the hot weather went online again, while the northern region was "relayed" with heavy precipitation. Meteorological monitoring shows that there are frequent rains in most parts of the north this week, and the rainfall in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei will reach the strongest since the flood season. At the same time, the sixth typhoon "Mikla" this year may land in Fujian today, and there will be strong winds and rainfall in the coastal areas.

On the evening of August 9, Beijing citizens waded in the rain. On the same day, the Beijing Meteorological Observatory released the precipitation (mm) from 18: 00 to 23: 00: the average in the city was 17.9, and the average in the urban area was 28.1. There are 7 or 8 gusts in most areas, and the local level reaches 9 to 11. China News Service reporter Tian Yuxi photo
Large-scale heavy rainfall in the north: the rainfall in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei may be the strongest since the flood season.
In early August, the rainfall in the north became more and more frequent, and the rainfall gradually increased. A new round of heavy precipitation will spread to more than ten provinces.
The Central Meteorological Observatory predicts that there will be a heavy rainfall process in the eastern part of northwest China, North China, Northeast China and Huanghuai from the night of the 10th to the 13th. Among them, there are heavy rains and local heavy rains in parts of southern Gansu, southwestern Shaanxi, northern Henan, southwestern Shanxi, northern and southern Hebei, Beijing, northern Tianjin, Liaoning and other places.
During this round of precipitation, on the 12th, rainfall in the north will enter its peak period, with heavy rains in parts of the eastern part of northwest China, northern and southern parts of North China, central and southwestern Inner Mongolia, and southwestern Liaoning.
In addition, the cumulative rainfall of this round of rainfall is relatively large. The cumulative rainfall in southeastern Gansu, southwestern Shaanxi, northern and western mountainous areas of Beijing, northern Hebei, central and eastern Liaoning is 60-120 mm, and the local area can reach 150-180 mm. The rainfall in Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Liaoning and other places will reach the strongest since the flood season.
Meteorologists reminded that due to heavy rainfall, the upper reaches of the Yangtze River, Haihe River, Liaohe River and other basins need to do a good job in flood control and urban and rural waterlogging defense. At present, the No.3 flood of the Yellow River is evolving towards the middle and lower reaches. On the 9th, the Ministry of Water Resources asked for scientific dispatching of Xiaolangdi and Longyangxia reservoirs. At the same time, we should take into account the use of sediment discharge in the reservoir to prevent reservoir siltation and maintain the benign operation of the project.
Some rivers in the northern region have not come to the water for many years, and the local cadres and masses are not aware of flood control and have insufficient experience in dealing with floods. The Ministry of Water Resources requires that local governments should be urged to do a good job in forecasting, forecasting and early warning, dike inspection, reservoir safety flood control and rainstorm prevention.

Typhoon "Mikla" struck. On the afternoon of August 10th, the staff of Quanzhou Maritime Bureau urged the ships in the area to anchor in safe waters in advance. Zeng Xiaomei
Typhoon Mikla may land in Fujian today.
August is the month with the largest number of typhoons in a year, with an average of 5.7 typhoons. Recently, the subtropical high has moved northward, leaving room for typhoon activities in the northwest Pacific Ocean and the South China Sea, and typhoons are active again.
The tropical depression in the South China Sea was intensified to Typhoon Mikla No.6 this year on the morning of the 10th, and it was intensified from tropical storm level to strong tropical storm level at 5pm, with its center located on the sea about 390km south of Xiamen, Fujian.
The Central Meteorological Observatory predicts that Mikla will move northward at a speed of 25-30 kilometers per hour, and its intensity will be strengthened. It will land in the coastal area from Zhangpu to Pingtan in Fujian on the morning of the 11th (23-28 m/s, 9-10, tropical storm level or strong tropical storm level), and its intensity will gradually weaken after landing. Affected by it, from 14: 00 on the 10th to 14: 00 on the 11th, there will be 6-7 gale along the coast of Taiwan Province Island and Fujian, and there will be heavy rain in eastern Fujian and south-central Taiwan Province, with local heavy rain (100-110 mm). The Central Meteorological Observatory issued a yellow typhoon warning at 18: 00 on August 10th.
At present, all parties are already making arrangements to cope with the possible impact of the typhoon.
The Fujian Provincial Flood Control Office requires that all offshore fishing boats located in Minnan Fishing Ground and Yuzhong Fishing Ground must be evacuated to Hong Kong before 18: 00 on the 10th. Construction ships, unpowered ships and traffic ships along the coast south of Fuzhou will all stop working; Passenger ferries are suspended in time in strict accordance with the regulations on the prohibition and restriction of navigation in bad weather; Scenic spots, projects and construction sites are closed.
The National Defense General launched a Class IV emergency response to flood control and typhoon prevention at 16: 00 on August 10th, and the National Defense General Working Group rushed to Fujian at noon on the 10th to guide and assist in typhoon prevention.
Considering that Typhoon No.6 will land on the coast of Fujian on the morning of the 11th this year, Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, Liaoning and other places will have the strongest rainfall since the flood season, and there will also be persistent heavy rain or heavy rain in the western Sichuan Basin. After comprehensive judgment and emergency consultation, China Meteorological Bureau launched a three-level emergency response to major meteorological disasters such as rainstorm and typhoon.

The heat is back! High temperature weather appears in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River.
As the rain belt moves northward, the heavy rainfall in the south has weakened, but what follows is the overwhelming high temperature weather.
The Central Meteorological Observatory predicts that in the next three days, there will be high temperature weather above 35℃ in Jiangnan, north-central South China, Sichuan Basin, Jianghuai, Jianghan and southern Xinjiang Basin, with the highest temperature reaching 37 ~ 39℃ in some areas and above 40℃ in local areas.
Even in the longer-term medium-term weather, this high temperature trend has not eased. In the next 10 days, there will be hot weather with the highest daily temperature of 35 ~ 37℃ for 4 ~ 8 days in Jiangnan, Jianghuai, northeastern South China and eastern Sichuan Basin, which can reach 38 ~ 40℃ locally.
According to the meteorological data, among the provincial capital cities, Chongqing and Fuzhou are among the best cities with high temperature days in August. The number of high temperature days in Chongqing is 12.1, which is the month with the most high temperature days in a year, while that in Fuzhou is 10.9.
Attention should be paid to the hot weather in the south of the Yangtze River from around August 11th. This is because the rain basically stops around the 11th, and the heat will come back quickly. Not only will the northern part of the Yangtze River return to the ranks of high temperature, but Jianghuai, Jianghan and other places will also heat up immediately, and Wuhan, Hefei and Nanjing may be hit by high temperature.
Comparatively speaking, in the north where the rain is frequent, there is not much hot weather recently. Although the highest temperature in many places will be above 30℃, it will still be a little hot, but fortunately, the cooling will be more obvious when it rains heavily. (End)
